Fishing Boats on the Shore by Hercules Brabazon Brabazon shows two weathered boats pulled up onto a pale beach, with baskets, nets, and fishing gear scattered nearby. Hercules Brabazon Brabazon was a British watercolorist born in Paris in 1821. He traveled widely through Europe, North Africa, and India, and became known for loose, expressive watercolors of landscapes, architecture, and everyday places he encountered while traveling.
