A Note from Jen
Welcome to Sugar & Canvas!
I’m Jen, the founder and creative heart behind it. During the pandemic, I found myself stranded far from home, alone and unsure, yet surrounded by the quiet rhythm of nature. In that stillness, I began to hear my own voice again, the thoughts, the feelings, the inspiration I had long tuned out.
Design had been part of my life for over fifteen years, but this time it felt different. I wasn’t creating for work. I was creating to feel, to breathe, to reconnect. Sugar & Canvas grew from that space of reflection and became a way to share art that speaks to emotion, curiosity, and what truly matters.
As the brand grew, so did the vision. What started with my own designs has now evolved into a platform for independent artists from around the world. Through our Artist Collective, we collaborate directly with creatives to bring their work to life as officially licensed art prints and canvas artworks. Every artist we feature creates from a place that feels genuine. Their work holds warmth, vulnerability, and the small moments that often go unnoticed.
Every piece of art we share carries that same care. Created by the artist, made to order, and printed on premium materials. Nothing mass-produced. Everything intentional.

We’re a passionate art and design house based in Calgary, Canada, born out of a love for creativity and design during the pandemic. What started as a small Etsy shop has now blossomed into a fast-growing brand that specializes in crafting unique, trendy wall art prints that speak to every style and space. Today, we work with both in-house artists and independent creatives from around the world. We are drawn to art that feels calm, modern, emotional, and human. Every collection is carefully curated around intention and expression.

We collaborate with in-house artists as well as talented creators from around the world to bring designs to life. Each print is made just for you, and we are proud to deliver them right to your doorstep within 2-7 days.
Our Paper & Ink
Every print is made on museum-grade fine art paper with a soft matte finish that brings each detail to life. FSC-certified and sourced from responsibly managed forests, it’s crafted to last and made to feel as good as it looks. Paired with rich archival inks, your artwork stays vivid, true in color, and full of life for years to come.
Our Proprietary TrueScale™ Process
Our TrueScale™ imaging process is all about keeping the soul of the original artwork intact. Each artwork is carefully scaled and restored pixel by pixel, with colors balanced to reflect the artist’s true vision and every brushstroke brought to life in clear, authentic detail. The result is art that feels genuine and alive, with the same depth and emotion you’d feel standing in front of the original.
Production & Shipping
Made locally in Canada, the US, the UK, and Sweden by artisan printmakers and framers, your artwork takes a shorter journey from us to you. That means faster delivery, no surprise fees, a smaller carbon footprint, and a happier unboxing day.
